The Person Behind SITS:
Kevin Slade started Simple IT Solutions after years in the corporate world, where he saw firsthand how expensive managed service providers could be for small businesses. He believed there had to be a better way, built on simple & affordable solutions instead of unnecessary upgrades or inflated price tags.
At SITS, the goal is straightforward: evaluate what a business already has, determine what truly needs to change, and keep operations running smoothly without pushing equipment or services that aren’t required.
Kevin’s interest in technology began back in high school. Like many people, he started with gaming computers in the 1980s, and by the early 90s he had purchased his first real PC. But simply owning computers wasn’t enough. He discovered he enjoyed building them even more and has assembled dozens over the years.
While serving in the United States Air Force, Kevin helped install computer systems within his assigned squadron. During his military career he also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from North Carolina Wesleyan College.
After 20 years of service, Kevin retired from the Air Force and transitioned into civilian IT roles. He worked as a LAN Administrator for multiple companies before spending 18 years with a rapidly growing Dental DSO, helping modernize and maintain their technology infrastructure.
When he’s not working with computers, you can usually find Kevin enjoying one of his lifelong hobbies: model trains. It’s a passion he has carried with him since childhood.

We are based in North Carolina and work with businesses throughout the Wake, Durham, Chatham, Harnett, Johnston, Franklin, and Granville counties both onsite and remote.
No. We offer both ongoing support plans and one-time projects. If ongoing coverage fits your needs later, you can move into a plan anytime.
Our average initial response time is about 60 minutes during support hours. We prioritize keeping your business running, not leaving you waiting.
